I often get asked how I became a private jet designer. When I was in university studying architecture & urban planning, I earned a position with Embraer Executive Jets, headquartered in my hometown in Brazil. This opportunity kickstarted my career traveling all over the world designing aircraft for VVIP clients—including Forbes 500 CEOs, high-net-worth individuals, and A-list personalities. I’ve worked on the entire Embraer fleet, from light aircraft all the way up to large, from concept through completion.

Years later I worked in the US For Gulfstream Aerospace, primarily designing new G650s and refurbishing G550s. After a decade in the industry, I recognised there was a gap an opportunity to push the boundaries of aviation design. This realisation led me to found our international design studio—Lie Alonso Dynasty, where we create highly bespoke interiors that transcend conventional aviation trends.

From my perspective as someone who’s designed many jets over the years and observed the trends shaping the industry, the market today is saturated with aircraft that feel generic, bland, overly minimalist, or overly conservative. When you do find a jet that dares to be bold, it’s often too loud, primary and erratic, lacking elegance, subtlety—or hyper-futuristic in a way that feels cold and sterile.

For us, designing a private jet is about so much more than functionality—it’s about honouring legacy. We see it as an opportunity to celebrate the owner’s story, heritage, and the journey that brought them to this significant milestone. At the same time, it’s a chance to honour humanity’s legacy, using aviation as a symbol of innovation and prosperity, and elevating it to an art form that inspires wonder, connection, and higher potentials.

Our design aesthetic is all about nurturing the soul. We bring rich and organic elements, tones and materials that cultivate depth, character, and vibrancy—creating a sense of timeless refinement with enchanting details and an exotic flair.

Our team is very multicultural, and as internationals designing for other international traveler clients, our designs reflect a worldly perspective in an artistic and cohesive way. This is more than design; it’s an invitation to Ascend—to embrace genuine natural beauty as a path to living with elevated purpose and presence.
